Level 3 in Aeronautical Engineering

Course Overview

Level 3 in Aeronautical Engineering is designed for the people who carry out the maintenance
planning function for organizations within the aviation industry. This course is equivalent to A-
Levels. This course will give you the chance to gain academic qualifications and provide you
with relevant practical experience to pursue a career within the aeronautical engineering
industry. It will also provide you with a qualification that can lead to higher education. The
diploma follows the BTEC syllabus (Aeronautical Engineering) relating to Aircraft Maintenance
in category Airframe, Engine and Avionics, leading you to progress towards HNC/HND,
BA/BSc and/or Part 66 licenses.

Entry Requirements for this Course:

  • Applicant must be at 16-19 years old
  • Should have completed SSC/ O Level
  • A BTEC Level 2 in Engineering (overall Grade Merit) with Merits in the Mathematics and Science units. Minimum CGPA 3.50 or Above
  • IELTS 5.0 or an English Language equivalent certificate. (optional)
  • Able to speak, read, write and listen basic English
  • Satisfactory references, attendance record and interview
